Building a quality, custom Website requires a commitment between the Webmaster and Client. Ideas are submitted, reviewed, kept or discarded and then more ideas are brought into the process.  When all is done and the new site is published, the Client and Webmaster will want to be proud of the new offering.

I work with local and long distance; small business, large business and individuals. Together, we can build a great business Website, a few pages for the family, a page or two about that special item you are selling. Or a complex website like the 180 page Montgomery Sailboat Owners Group (below left)  or somewhere between. It is my mission to provide professional assistance to help your Internet and photographic visions become reality.

PDF CREATION AND SLIDE SHOWS

A PDF (portable Document File) is created to E-mail catalogs, sales material or fact sheets, with or without photos to prospective clients. In addition, the PDF is often the preferred method of providing information which may be downloaded and saved from a Website. Below left: 17 page, Pro-Cure catalog created in PDF.

Slide shows are placed on the home page, to draw prospective clients into the body of your site. Or, inside pages to give substance to an article or information about a specific product. Slide show combined with the downloadable PDF is a great choice when you want to make an impact and give the client something to remember you with. Slide shows are created in various sizes, numbers of photos and method of photo transition. Below right: Ten photos, 350 pixels wide, fade out photo transition.

JUST A FEW YEARS AGO, THE INTERNET WAS IN ITS INFANCY

Most Web users had a slow dial-up Internet connection and a small 10 X 10 inch box of a monitor. Now, most have wide angle monitors and high speed Internet. Changes have been made in most of the browsers and most of the major contributors. Here is what I mean:
You'll notice some Websites were designed and still operate at 800 pixels wide ( www.networksolutions.com ), while others including the big boys ( www.MSN.com ) have changed to the up and comming standard of 1024 pixels wide. Sure, you'll find a few hold-outs who have not upgraded from their old equipment. However, for the most part your clients will now have newer equipment and operate with a high speed connection. I bring this up for the sake of argument. I can build sites at the old measurements of 800 wide or at the new size of 1024 pixels wide. I can make the site load and operate best with dial-up, or if it is perceived the majority of your clients have high speed connections, I will build the site to load and operate best with those parameters. There are several choices to be made in construction techniques and those will be covered in the initial consultation.
